How it works

• A rally is the number of times you bat the ball before it comes to rest.
• Your best rally of the week goes up. Beating it replaces it, it does not stack.
• Names are made up by the app from a fixed list of words. Nobody types one.
• The country comes from the connection the score arrived on, not from anything the app looks up about you.
• No account, no email. The board is opt out: on by default, with a switch in the app to turn it off.
• Badges are awarded by the board itself, from what it has recorded. The app cannot claim one.
• Posting a score needs a real App Store copy of Tether, and a rally that happened faster than the ball could travel is refused.
